Walk with Refugees for a stronger Canada

For World Refugees Day, join us as we Walk with Refugees. Bring your family and friends, wear yellow and bring noisemakers to show your support. We will gather at Maritime Museum of the Atlantic outdoor courtyard by the water front. We will walk together to Canadian Museum of Immigration Pier 21 where we meet for remarks the launch of Nova Scotia’s new train to hire pilot initiatives for refugees, information booths and networking.
Care for Refugees (CFR) is a non-profit organization that has sponsored refugees from different countries to come to Nova Scotia, Canada for over 15 years. CFR is a volunteer-based organization. It is run with many volunteers helping with both settlement and operations. The organization has sponsored over 150 refugees.
