English Training

Refugees who come to Canada often encounter a significant language barrier when trying to settle into their new home. When they arrive, many refugees may not speak English or French, which are the official languages of Canada. This language barrier can make it challenging for them to access important services, find jobs, and connect with people in their new community.

To help refugees overcome this obstacle, Canada has set up programs to provide language training and support. Nova Scotia Community College offer English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program to  improve English vocabulary and grammar without tuition cost
