If the newcomer is not staying with the co-sponsor, CFR and co-sponsor search out housing within the local market.

This can range from a few day’s stay while all is made ready with the co-sponsor or a permanent rental lease agreement.  The organization always works hard to stay within a small budget while having them in an area where they can mix with fellow newcomers who share commonalities like language.

We mostly receive in kind donations of start-up household items like toiletries, furnishings, etc. through local charities and individuals.
